Survey Technician II (08B-05-001)

WBCM seeks individual possessing effective communication skills with a desire for a long-term career in the field of surveying to work in a team environment in the collection of survey data and other field activities under the direction of a crew chief.  The Technician II position is responsible for the protection and maintenance of valuable surveying equipment.  The Technician II position also acts as another set of eyes for the Crew Chief and reports any instrument malfunctions, settlement, etc. to the Chief immediately, as well as performs a mental double check of the field activities and confirms adherence to standards.  Refer to Job #08B-05-001 when applying. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated desire for a long-term career in the Surveying field
• 6 months surveying experience
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Punctual, flexible and able to travel and work occasional overtime and weekends
• Able and willing to work outdoors, even under extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 10-20 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License

Position Type:  Hourly (1.5 overtime rate)
