Group Life, Health and Disability Insurance

These accounts allow our employees make pre-tax payroll deductions to pay anticipated medical expenses and/or day care for children or elderly dependents.
401(k) Retirement Plan
No waiting here! WBCM employees are immediately eligible for tax-deferred
income contributions toward retirement. There are 20 different investment
alternatives within the plan and, for 2010, WBCM is matching up to 50% (as
defined by the terms of the Plan) of a participating employee's bi-weekly,
voluntary contributions.
Identity Theft/Fraud Protection
WBCM pays 100% of this protection for employees and their dependent family members.
Tuition Assistance
WBCM reimburses regular employees for courses leading to a BS/MS degree in
civil engineering, surveying, engineering technology, landscape architecture,
urban planning, architecture and other degrees, which are subject to approval.
WBCM gives assistance for tuition, books and school fees at a rate of $2,000
per semester, up to a maximum of $5,000 per year. Reimbursement is contingent
on the employee-student earning grade "C" or better. A special tuition reimbursement
program exists for employees pursuing MBA degrees.
Combined Vacation/Sick Leave
Our combined vacation and sick leave program allows employees the flexibility
to take time off from work for many reasons - vacation, illness, doctor's
appointments, family needs. All introductory and regular full-time employees
earn three weeks/120 hours of leave per year, accrued by calendar year. Employees
with 6-20 years tenure, accrue one additional day per year, up to a maximum
of five weeks. Employees can carry over up to 40 hours per year, accumulating
a "bank" of 80 hours, maximum. WBCM pays out for remaining hours, not carried
over, at the end of each calendar year. We deduct payment for overdrawn leave
(beyond actual time accrued) from an employee's final paycheck upon employment
termination.
Holidays
WBCM employees enjoy seven and one-half (7.5) major holidays and one "floating"
holiday, which employees can take as one full day or two half days.
Flu Shots
Our annual flu vaccination program is free to all employees and at-cost to family members of employees.

We have relationships with several Maryland and Pennsylvania credit unions, so, regardless of your WBCM office location, you can save locally.
Direct Deposit
We help you bank and save by allowing you to have your payroll check deposited directly into up to three different checking/savings accounts.

Travel Accident Insurance
We offer $100,000 in Business Accident Insurance, as per conditions of the policy.
Mileage Allowance
WBCM reimburses business-related travel at a rate equivalent to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Salary Adjustments
Each June, employees meet with their supervisors for performance reviews.
This conversational, informal meeting gives the employee and his/her supervisor
the opportunity to acknowledge strengths, set goals and review the employee's
compensation for adjustment.
